Pawel Chudzicki assists clients in their complex cross-border business activities and transactions. He has served both U.S. and foreign companies and government agencies across industries including aerospace, biotechnology, cybersecurity, food security, higher education, defense, manufacturing, media and telecommunications. He also works extensively with foreign companies establishing operations in the U.S. and counsels them in all aspects of their business activities in the U.S., including negotiating strategic commercial arrangements and dispute resolutions.

Pawel is based in Miller Canfield's Washington, D.C., office and shares time with the firm's Doha and Warsaw offices. Pawel's Qatar practice has focused on the representation of U.S. defense and aerospace companies. Pawel has been ranked as a Qatar Corporate/Commercial Expert Based Abroad in 2019, 2020 and 2021 by Chambers and Partners. According to Chambers, clients appreciate that he has "an unparalleled understanding of the legal issues faced by US defence contractors in Qatar," and is "very helpful, able to solve problems and provide solutions."

Pawel founded Miller Canfield Global Strategies, which provides advisory and consultancy services to government and private sector clients in connection with strategic and policy matters in the aerospace and defense sector. In addition to his practice, Pawel serves in the firm's leadership as one of the its Managing Directors and as the Resident Director of the Washington, D.C., office.

Prior to joining Miller Canfield, Pawel practiced with a global law firm where he helped open the firm's Warsaw office and spent over five years at the firm's Doha, Qatar office.

  • Assisted U.S. defense and aerospace sector companies in the implementation of Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales programs in Qatar and Poland
  • Represented higher education and R&D institutions in connection with cross-border arrangements
  • Assisted corporations and high net-worth individuals with acquisitions, sales and structuring of corporate aircraft operations, including Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault, Cessna and Gulfstream
  • Represented Qatari clients in connection with domestic and global activities
