At our core, Miller Canfield is a financial services firm, providing key services to financial institutions across a broad range of legal disciplines. While we have regional, national and international reach, we have never strayed from our Midwestern roots and values—honesty, ingenuity, hard work, trust, courtesy, modesty and resilience.

We serve all major participants in virtually every aspect of private and public sector financial services, including through complementary practices and strategic teams with long tenures, superb credentials and a strong commitment to our clients.

The Financial Services Group closely coordinates with a number of our other practice groups on a broad range of customary credit transactions, as well as specialized finance issues, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. Together we are one of the largest dedicated financial services teams in the Midwest, providing our financial industry clients with timely and skilled representation.

Our extensive experience in this industry has given us a deep understanding of the landscape of the industry and its marketplaces, cyclical trends and the business, credit, financial products and instruments, as well as the corporate, organizational and regulatory issues that financial institutions face across the life cycle of their activities and transactions.

We are consistently recognized both nationally and regionally as having one of the leading financial services practices by Chambers USA, "Best Lawyers" and U.S. News & World Report.
