Miller Canfield Ranks First in Michigan for Municipal Bond Financings
Miller Canfield, a global law firm headquartered in Detroit, has again been ranked first among Michigan bond counsel law firms in the “2017 Bond Counsel Rankings,” published by Thomson Reuters. Miller Canfield bond attorneys opined on Michigan municipal bond issues totaling more than $1.88 billion in 2017. Firm wide, Miller Canfield ranked ninth in the Mideast Region with more than $1.94 billion in 2017.
With more than 25 attorneys in Michigan and Illinois, Miller Canfield’s Public Finance Group is the largest group of dedicated municipal finance attorneys in Michigan. The firm has ranked No. 1 in Michigan nearly all of the more than 30 years Thomson Reuters has published the rankings.
