Miller Canfield Opens Office in Traverse City to Serve Growing Northern Michigan Client Base
Miller Canfield has opened a new office in downtown Traverse City, strengthening the law firm’s ability to serve clients in Northern Michigan’s growing business community.
The office, located at 202 E. State St., Suite 201, Traverse City, opened on Jan. 1, 2026. It will support clients in key industries, including tech companies, startups, manufacturing companies, banking, financial services organizations, local governments, schools and higher education clients, healthcare, utilities and energy companies, wineries, distillers, brewers, restaurants, other hospitality businesses, and real estate development companies.
“Traverse City and the surrounding region are home to some of the most dynamic businesses in Michigan, from banks, manufacturers, and developers to wineries and craft beverage producers,” said Michael Palizzi, Miller Canfield’s CEO. “We have decades-long relationships with many public- and private-sector clients and represent some of the Traverse City area’s largest employers. Steve Roach will serve as the resident director of the Traverse City office and will be based there full-time.
