Miller Canfield Attorney Carl H. von Ende Speaks at ICLE Seminar
The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that Carl H. von Ende, a principal in the Detroit office, recently spoke on “Customizing Private Arbitrations”at the 7th Annual Advanced Negotiation & Dispute Resolution Institute seminar presented by the Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE).
von Ende is a member of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. He concentrates his practice on trial, appeal, arbitration and mediation of antitrust, securities, intellectual property, corporate governance, banking, contract and debtor-creditor litigation.
von Ende is a faculty member for the Michigan Supreme Court's Continuing Legal Education Program, a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and is listed in the Commercial Litigation Section of 13 consecutive editions, the 2007 and 2008 editions of the Banking Law Section, and the 2007 and 2008 editions of Bet-the-Company Litigation Section of The Best Lawyers in America. He is also listed in Chambers USA: America's Leading Business Lawyers Guide in the Commercial Litigation Section of the 2003 through 2007 editions, as well as Michigan Super Lawyers in the Top 100 Michigan Super Lawyers and the Business Litigation Section of the 2007 edition.
A past president of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, he is also active in the American College of Trial Lawyers, State Bar of Michigan, and a number of civic and professional organizations.
He received his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, where he also received his A.B.
