millercanfield.com Named "Outstanding Web Site" in 2002 Web Marketing Association Competition

Commended for its attractiveness and content, millercanfield.com, the web site for the law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C., was named today "Outstanding Web Site" in the 2002 WebAward Competition sponsored by the Web Marketing Association.

Out of a possible 70 points, millercanfield.com received a total score of 64. On the awardee list, Miller Canfield was accompanied by notable organizations such as Dow Jones & Co., Fortune.com, Visteon Corp., Del Webb Corp., Disney, FOX Broadcasting Co., Deloitte & Touche and the Smithsonian.

"Very attractive site," commented one member of the Web Marketing Association panel who reviewed entries. "It’s a nice, polished, professional-looking site – and you can find a telephone number for just about anyone in the company."

Re-launched in January 2001 with updated information and a new design, millercanfield.com offers helpful information about emerging legal issues and recently enacted laws, descriptions on each of the firm’s practice and specialty areas, as well as a directory of offices, attorneys and managing officers. It also features a narrative of the firm’s 150-year-history and a newsroom – equipped with the latest press announcements, newsletters, client alerts and seminar information.

The WebAwards are produced by the Web Marketing Association, Inc., an independent organization founded with the exclusive purpose of evaluating and recognizing the standard of excellence on the World Wide Web for corporate web sites.
