Miller Canfield labor and employment law attorneys, Felicia Duncan and Charles Oxender, will discuss how the recently approved Proposal 2 may, or may not, affect employers’ same-sex or domestic partner benefit programs.
“We will discuss the ramifications of Proposal 2, which will likely affect public employers differently from private sector employers,” said Duncan. “It has implications for union contract negotiations, domestic partner benefits, national origin discrimination, and ERISA, to name a few.”
