Miller Canfield to Receive Michigan Municipal League's Distinguished Achievement Award

Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C. announces its Public Law Group will receive the Michigan Municipal League’s (MML) Distinguished Achievement Award at the League’s annual banquet on September 12, 2002. The award recognizes the outstanding contributions and service Miller Canfield gives to local government and the important role its Public Law Group plays in municipalities throughout Michigan.

The Miller Canfield Public Law Group offers counsel and specialized services to cities and villages, as well as public agencies, and is a vital part of municipal representation in bonds and finance, economic development, environmental law, labor relations, litigation, taxation and assessment appeals. The attorneys within the Group are greatly involved in the municipal community including having membership in the Municipal Finance Officers Association and its Legislative Committee, authoring articles on municipal issues, and acting in the MML Foundation’s Enhancing Local Government Project. The Public Law Group is chaired by William Danhof and Amanda Van Dusen serves as vice chair.
