George Ryan Holton helps clients with the purchase, sale, lease, and development of real estate in a wide range of commercial and industrial matters. He works extensively with Miller Canfield’s K-12 and alcohol industry groups, advising on real estate issues tailored to the unique needs of these industries.

George’s experience includes drafting and negotiating real estate sale, lease, private financing, construction, and easement documents, as well as helping clients work with municipalities on zoning and land use permitting issues.

Representative Matters

  • Drafted and negotiated a ten-year, 275,000 square foot industrial lease for a German automotive supplier, which provided them with their first location in the United States.
  • Represented international auto supplier with multiple sale-leaseback and real estate purchase and sale transactions
  • Represented numerous wineries, breweries, restaurants, and distilleries with real estate matters including leases and purchases of manufacturing and service spaces.
  • Assisted landowners with securing and defending property rights, including water access and private roads.
