August 17, 2026

Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Bill K.A. Warners has joined the firm as an associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. He is based in the firm’s Grand Rapids office.

Warners focuses his practice on commercial litigation and brings experience handling construction, employment and contractual disputes. Before joining Miller Canfield, he was an associate at Warner Norcross + Judd LLP in Grand Rapids, where he managed matters through multiple stages of litigation, including case strategy, legal research, discovery, depositions, dispositive motions and trial preparation.

His experience also includes settlement negotiations and mediation, complex e-discovery matters, corporate internal investigations and advising clients on litigation risks involving commercial contracts and employment practices. He has also drafted and negotiated commercial agreements, including leases, nondisclosure agreements, licensing agreements and vendor and service-provider contracts.

“Bill brings strong litigation experience and a practical approach to helping clients navigate business disputes,” said Miller Canfield CEO Michael Palizzi. “We are pleased to welcome him to our Grand Rapids team and look forward to the contributions he will make for our clients and the firm.”

Warners earned his J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where he served as a staff editor of the UIC Review of Intellectual Property Law. He earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Calvin University, where he served as student body president.

He is admitted to practice in Michigan and before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan. Warners also serves on the board of directors of Rescue One Foundation.
