Malaika Caldwell Joins Miller Canfield Corporate Group
Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Malaika Caldwell has joined the law firm's Corporate and Transactions Group in its Chicago office.
Caldwell's practice focuses on employee benefits, executive compensation and employment law. She provides clients with operational and administrative support related to health and welfare benefits, including the design of welfare benefit offerings and the drafting of cafeteria plan and wrap plan documents, summary plan descriptions and enrollment materials and notices.
Caldwell previously was at White Cap Supply Holdings, where she was senior counsel. She has considerable experience in governmental compliance programs with the Internal Revenue Services and Department of Labor compliance divisions, having served as an investigator with the Department of Labor's Employee Benefit Security Administration.
Caldwell is a graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and Elmhurst College.
