Frances Hollander Earns ABA Labor and Employment Law Fellowship
Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Frances J. Hollander, an associate in the firm’s Employment and Labor Group, has been selected for the American Bar Association Section of Labor and Employment Law’s Section Development Fund Fellowship Program, a prestigious three-year fellowship that supports the development of future leaders in labor and employment law.
Hollander’s fellowship term began September 1, 2026, and runs through August 31, 2029. Through the program, fellows are encouraged to become actively involved in section activities, contribute to publications, and participate in leadership and educational initiatives that advance the practice of labor and employment law.
Hollander focuses her practice on representing employers in employment litigation and counseling matters. She has particular experience in wage-and-hour litigation and compliance, advising employers on issues involving employee classification, overtime calculations, tip pooling, off-the-clock work, and related state and federal wage-and-hour requirements.
“Frances has already established herself as a skilled advocate for employers navigating complex workplace issues, particularly in the wage-and-hour arena,” said Brian M. Schwartz, leader of Miller Canfield's Employment and Labor Group. “This fellowship will provide valuable opportunities to collaborate with leading practitioners from across the country and further enhance the sophisticated counsel she provides to our clients.”
