Miller Canfield Lawyer Lisa Hagan Elected Vice President of Michigan Women in Finance's Board of Directors
Miller Canfield associate Lisa Hagan (Ann Arbor, Mich. office) was recently elected to a one-year term as vice president of the board of directors of the Michigan Women in Finance, of which she has been a member since 2008.
Founded in 2004, the Michigan Women in Finance is a nonprofit, education and professional networking organization for women in the finance industry. The board consists of 16 members representing a diverse group of women finance professionals.
At Miller Canfield, Hagan focuses on public finance transactions of all types, representing issuers and underwriters in a broad range of traditional and complex tax exempt financings, with a particular focus in the areas of health care and housing.
She received her LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, her J.D. from Michigan State University College of Law, and her B.A. from Michigan State University.
