Miller Canfield Chosen to Attend U.S. India Business Council Event for Indian Prime Minister

Miller Canfield, one of the largest and oldest law firms in the U.S. and with offices in Canada, Mexico, Poland and China, was honored to be selected as the only law firm from the state of Michigan to attend the recent U.S. India Business Council and Chamber of Commerce luncheon in Washington, D.C. for Indian Prime Minister, the Honorable Dr. Manmohan Singh.   

Miller Canfield lawyer Gurinder J. Singh (Ann Arbor, Mich.) attended the high-level, member-only event as an ambassador of the firm.  Singh assists companies and individuals with a wide range of business needs in the global marketplace and helps U.S. and international clients with complex mergers and acquisitions. She is on the executive board of the South Asian Bar Association of Michigan and the steering group of the India Committee of the International Section of the American Bar Association.

The U.S. India Business Council (USIBC) is the premiere business advocacy organization representing America's top companies investing in India, joined by global Indian companies, promoting economic reforms with an aim to deepen trade and strengthen commercial ties.
