Miller Canfield Lawyer Roselyn Parmenter to Serve on EMU Paralegal Advisory Board

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that principal Roselyn R. Parmenter (Ann Arbor, Mich.) has been appointed to the Eastern Michigan University Paralegal Studies Program Advisory Board.

At Miller Canfield, Parmenter specializes in health, tax-exemption and corporate laws representing public and private hospitals, tax-exempt organizations, nonprofit corporations, Michigan county health plans, physician organizations, skilled nursing facilities, and other health care provider entities.

She earned her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, her B.A. from the University of Michigan and A.D. from Delta College School of Nursing. She resides in Ann Arbor.

Eastern Michigan University offers the only paralegal studies program in the country that has a clinic, supported by its university, in which paralegal students work under attorney supervision through an advisory board. Students provide civil court forms and court procedural information to members of the community who cannot afford attorneys.
