Attorney Appointed to Serve on Michigan State University's College of Arts & Letters Alumni Association Board of Directors

Beverly Hall Burns, a principal and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C., has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors of Michigan State University's College of Arts and Letters Alumni Association. The Board, which meets several times a year, provides a framework for college alumni to assist in recruiting outstanding faculty and students; to promote scholarship fund development; to provide input on student and faculty awards; to promote involvement of other alumni with the college; and to cultivate mentorship relationships as well as career placement opportunities for students and graduates of the College.

She is a member of the Michigan Bar Association's Labor Law Section, the American Bar Association's Labor Law Section and Committee on Law Firm Management; Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association; Michigan Council of School Attorneys and National Council of School Attorneys. She is past chair of the Grosse Pointe War Memorial Board of Directors, serves on the Board of Directors of the Economic Club of Detroit, and is a fellow of the Michigan Bar Foundation.

She resides in Grosse Pointe.
