Miller Canfield Elects Four New Principals

The law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C. is pleased to announce that Jennifer A. Bielfield, Adam S. Forman, Joseph D. Gustavus and Robert J. Nolan have been elected principals of the firm.

Jennifer A. Bielfield, of the Detroit office, is a former associate and is a member of the Financial Institutions and Transactions Group and the Aviation and Transportation Group. She is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, Oakland County Bar Association, and Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association. She received her law degree, cum laude from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law where she was the recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award for Corporations, and the David Martin Memorial Award presented by the Negligence Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Her B.A. in communications is from the University of Michigan.

Adam S. Forman, of the Detroit office, is a former associate and practices in the firm’s Labor and Employment Law Group. He is a member of the American Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section; State Bar of Michigan Labor and Employment Law Section; Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association Labor and Employment Law Section; and the Oakland County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He received his law degree, cum laude, from Syracuse University College of Law, and his B.A., cum laude, from Michigan State University, majoring in political science pre-law.

Joseph D. Gustavus , of the Detroit office, is a former associate and is a member of the Business and Finance, Automotive Industry, and Software Technology Licensing Groups. He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Detroit Regional Chamber, German-American Chamber of Commerce, and Detroit Regional Economic Partnership. He also is a certified public accountant and is licensed to practice in Michigan and Illinois. He received his law degree, magna cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School, and his B.A. from Michigan State University, Eli Broad College of Business, with a major in accounting.
