National Business Institute Offers Seminar On Michigan Foreclosure and Repossession, October 16
Lawrence Dudek , a principal at the law firm of Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C., will speak at the upcoming Michigan Foreclosure and Repossession seminar sponsored by the National Business Institute. Held on Wednesday, October 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Southfield, the seminar will address critical foreclosure, repossession, and bankruptcy issues for attorneys, bankers, loan officers, and credit managers. The seminar will help participants secure a working knowledge of the bankruptcy and pre-bankruptcy process and will identify the most valued steps to take toward a successful foreclosure action. Session speakers will discuss alternatives to foreclosure, including workouts and liquidation; real property foreclosure procedures; repossession of personal property and pre-bankruptcy; and bankruptcy and the secured creditor. The role of the Uniform Commercial Code will be discussed, as well as automatic stay and cash collateral.
