Miller Canfield Announces New Director of Human Resources

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that Elizabeth K. Needleman, SPHR, CCP, CBP, has joined the firm as director of human resources. Needleman will reside in the firm’s headquarters in Detroit. She replaces William J. Parsons, who is retiring after 28 years with Miller Canfield.

Needleman is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management, the Human Resources Association of Greater Detroit, WorldatWork, and the national and local chapters of the Association of Legal Administrators.

Prior to joining Miller Canfield, she was human resources director at the Pierce Atwood LLP law firm in Portland, Maine, one of New England’s largest law firms.

She received a Master of Public Administration, specializing in Personnel Administration, from George Washington University, and her B.A. from the University of Vermont.

She resides in Plymouth, Mich.

The law firm of Miller Canfield was established in Detroit in 1852 and employs more than 800 in offices in Michigan, Massachusetts, Florida, New York, Canada and Poland.
