Miller Canfield Appoints New COO

David Robson joins Michigan's largest law firm from Pembroke Real Estate, Inc. in Boston

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that David A. Robson has joined the firm as chief operating officer. He will work with the firm’s CEO and the five-person management administration to oversee the firm’s offices in the United States, Canada and Poland.

Robson joins the firm from Pembroke Real Estate, Inc. in Boston, a Fidelity Investments Company, where he was senior vice president, chief financial officer and chief investment officer.

His experience also includes various senior executive positions at General Motors Corporation in New York, Brussels, and Detroit, as well as executive director, Worldwide Real Estate.

He received an MBA in 1989 from the University of Michigan and a B.S. from Pennsylvania State University in 1982, with a major in Engineering Science and Mechanics.

He resides in Birmingham, Michigan.

With over 350 attorneys practicing in all major areas of law, Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C. is among the 200 largest law firms in the U.S. and is Michigan’s largest and oldest law firm.

The firm was established in Detroit in 1852 and currently employs 800 in offices in Michigan, Illinois, Massachusetts, Florida, New York, Canada and Poland.
