Miller Canfield Attorney Allyn Kantor Receives State Bar of Michigan Michael Franck Award
Allyn D. Kantor, a principal in the Ann Arbor office of Miller Canfield, was recently honored with the Michael Franck Award at the State Bar of Michigan’s Annual Meeting in September. The award is given annually to an attorney who has made an outstanding contribution to the improvement of the legal profession.
At Miller Canfield, Kantor’s practice includes complex civil litigation, health law, insurance matters, commercial real estate matters, employment litigation, securities broker liability, construction, environmental matters, and product liability.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan, where he served on the Board of Commissioners, Federal Bar Association, Washtenaw County Bar Association, and American Arbitration Association and is an adjunct professor teaching Alternate Dispute Resolution at the University of Michigan Law School. In 2002, he was the recipient of the George N. Bashara, Jr. Award for distinguished service to the Alternate Dispute Resolution Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
He received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, and a B.S. from Washington & Lee University where he majored in Business Administration.
He resides in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
