Miller Canfield is a Premier Sponsor of Michigan Growth Capital Symposium 2007

Miller Canfield announces that it is the premier law firm sponsor of the Michigan Growth Capital Symposium (MGCS) 2007, a nationally attended event where financiers meet the 'Best of the Midwest' in new businesses and emerging technologies. This year’s event to be held on May 15th and 16th at the Marriott Resort in Ypsilanti is expected to bring together 450 attendees including investors from across the country, executives of early stage and emerging growth companies, and related stakeholders.

Miller Canfield will be leading one of the eight world class panel discussions at MGCS, and venture and technology attorneys from the firm will be available at the event to discuss issues relating to technology-based companies and their owners and investors. The firm regularly handles transactions and disputes involving start-up ventures, angel investors, venture capital and private equity funds, and licensors/licensees, of all sizes and degrees of complexity, and has a global footprint in technology transfer and venture financing.
