Miller Canfield Hosts Briefing with Lawyer from India
The law firm of Miller Canfield is pleased to host Akil Hirani, managing partner of Majmudar & Co. International Lawyers of Mumbai, India, for an informal briefing on “Doing Business in India,” on Monday, May 21, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the Troy office at 840 West Long Lake, Suite 200, and on Wednesday, May 23, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Detroit office at 150 W. Jefferson, Suite 2500. He will provide an overview of current business opportunities and discuss the business and legal challenges in India.
Hirani has assisted many of Miller Canfield's U.S. corporate lawyers with clients' transactions in India and is in Michigan to speak at a meeting of the International Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan in Grand Rapids.
