Miller Canfield Honored with 2026 Highfields Partnership Award
Miller Canfield has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the Highfields Partnership Award, which is presented annually to a company or organization that has contributed to the fulfillment of Highfields’ mission.
The award will be presented at Highfields’ annual meeting on April 29.
Highfields is a respected mid-Michigan nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for children, youth and families to become more responsible for their own lives and strengthen their relationships with others. Since its founding in 1962, Highfields has grown from a residential camp for boys in Ingham County into a multi-purpose human services organization serving approximately 5,000 people each year across 11 counties through residential treatment, community services and educational programs.
Miller Canfield has a long history of supporting Highfields and its mission. Two of the firm’s attorneys, Brian Gallagher and Ashley Higginson, currently serve on the Highfields board of directors. Former board members from the firm include Scott Eldridge, Matthew Greenberg and Reshma Sambare.
“This recognition reflects a longstanding relationship between Miller Canfield and Highfields, as well as our firm’s commitment to supporting organizations that make a meaningful difference in the communities they serve,” said Miller Canfield CEO Michael Palizzi.
Founded in 1852, Miller Canfield is a leading business law firm with offices across the United States and internationally. The firm is committed to serving clients, communities and causes that strengthen the places where people live and work.
