Vera Hansen is an associate in Miller Canfield's Corporate and Transactions Group, where she helps clients navigate complex domestic and international business transactions. She advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, organizational restructuring, corporate governance, and high-value contract negotiations.
Vera regularly advises registered investment advisers on a broad range of transactional and corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, organizational restructuring, succession planning, ownership transitions, and compliance with SEC and state securities regulations.
As part of her practice, Vera advises clients on sophisticated aviation transactions, including acquisition, sale, leasing, and financing of private aircraft under Federal Aviation Regulations Part 91, addressing ownership structures, tax considerations, and related compliance requirements.
Vera graduated cum laude from Wayne State University Law School and earned her B.A. from the University of Tübingen, Germany. A native German speaker, Vera brings international experience from working with Fortune 500 automotive companies, adding cross-border insight to her transactional practice.
