Larry Dudek Admitted to Midwest Real Estate Journal Hall of Fame

February 15, 2022

Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that Larry Dudek has been admitted to the Midwest Real Estate Journal Hall of Fame.

Dudek's practice focuses on commercial real estate litigation, including foreclosure, receiverships and construction claims.

Dudek's impact on commercial real estate is evident throughout the City of Detroit. He played a crucial role in advising and representing project participants in the construction of some of Detroit's showcase projects including Comerica Park, which is the home of the Detroit Tigers, and Ford Field, which is the home of the Detroit Lions. He also represented project participants with regard to major construction renovation for the Renaissance Center GM World Headquarters, the Dime Building and 1001 Woodward Building.

"Larry is at his best when he is working on large, complex projects with many stakeholders and moving parts. He helps to keep projects moving so that they can be completed; that's where his contribution to clients becomes invaluable," said Miller Canfield CEO Megan Norris.

With more than 45 years of experience, Dudek is a frequent speaker and presenter for the prestigious American College of Real Estate Lawyers, to which he was inducted as a fellow in 2005, on topics that include construction claims, real estate foreclosure and commercial real estate receiver issues. He has earned honors that include Best Lawyers in America, the C. Robert Wartell Distinguished Service Award, Michigan Super Lawyers and DBusiness Magazine Top Lawyers.

Dudek has chaired the Land Title Standards Committee and the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
