Matthew Logan focuses his practice on mergers, acquisitions, corporate reorganization and general commercial transactions including commercial finance and real estate matters. He has extensive experience with state, national and international transactions including acquisitions involving subsidiaries in multiple countries.
Matthew’s experience in commercial finance has focused on representing lenders in connection with specialized healthcare facilities, construction loans and general business financing. He has represented borrowers in relation to structuring senior and mezzanine financing as well as work outs, forbearance and other distressed business financing matters.
Matthew often serves as a general advisor to corporate clients, working proactively to avoid pitfalls that arise during business operations, often collaborating with his clients and colleagues in the labor and employment, intellectual property or other specialized fields in order to assist clients in navigating challenges and minimizing the risk of litigation.
He is also experienced in advising clients regarding promotions conducted on a state, national and international platform. Such projects often include advising advertising agencies and sponsor entities regarding requirements to avoid illegal lottery concerns and to ensure statutory compliance.
Matthew has served as a speaker on the topics of real estate transactions, breach of fiduciary duties of corporate officers and designing corporate structure to meet a client’s needs in relation to both the subject transaction and future exit strategy planning.
