Miller Canfield Attorney Named Chairman of Employee Benefits Committee of Oakland County Bar Association
Kenneth J. Sachs, a senior attorney in the Detroit office of Miller Canfield, was recently named chairman of the Oakland County Bar Association’s Employee Benefits Committee.
Sachs has extensive experience in employee benefits, executive compensation, business planning and health care issues. His practice includes the design, implementation and administration of tax-qualified retirement plans, non-tax qualified retirement plans, ESOPs, and various welfare benefit plans. He represents and advises physicians and physician organizations regarding tax, corporate and regulatory issues, and also handles matters involving the Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation.
He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Ohio State Bar Association.
He received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
He resides in West Bloomfield, Michigan.
