Miller Canfield Attorney Elected to Board of Directors of Planned Parenthood of Southeast Michigan
Miller Canfield announces that attorney Christopher M. Trebilcock has been elected to the board of directors of Planned Parenthood of Southeast Michigan (PPSM). Trebilcock is an associate in the firm’s Detroit office practicing labor and employment law.
PPSM is committed to providing confidential and quality family planning services, reproductive health care and sexuality education, and to being a leading force in advocating for human rights for women, men and teens in Oakland, Wayne, St. Clair and Macomb Counties.
Trebilcock is on the board of directors for the Downtown Detroit Rotary; Detroit Institute of Arts Founders' Junior Council; The Church of Messiah Housing Corporation; Michigan Democratic Action Network; as well as Royal Oak Mainstreet Program's Business Development Committee. He is a member of the Leadership Oakland XVI class of 2005-2006 Cornerstone Program.
He is a Fellow of the 2004 Michigan Political Leadership Program (MPLP) of Michigan State University; a member of the American Bar Association, Labor and Employment Law Section; State Bar of Michigan, Labor and Employment Law Section; Federal Bar Association for the Eastern District of Michigan; Oakland County Bar Association, where he sits on the Board of Directors of the Young Lawyers’ Council; and the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association.
He is licensed to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
He received his law degree from Wake Forest University. His undergraduate degree, cum laude, is from Alma College, where he majored in political science and business administration.
He resides in Royal Oak, Michigan.
