Lawyer Sarah A. Robison Joins Miller Canfield
Immigration lawyer Sarah A. Robison has joined Miller Canfield as an associate in the Chicago office.
She will assist clients with a wide spectrum of employment-based immigration needs, including obtaining nonimmigrant visas (B-1, H, L, E, O, P, R, and TN), immigrant visas (EB-1, EB-2, EB-3, EB-5, National Interest Waivers, and PERM labor certifications), and compliance (LCA, I-9, E-Verify).
Robison joins Miller Canfield from Karan Law in Bloomington, Minnesota. She is a member of the Minnesota Bar and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Prior to earning her J.D. (2012) cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School, she received her B.A. (2009) magna cum laude in anthropology and political science from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
While in law school, Robison served as a Research Consultant for the National Bureau of Economic Research, where she researched legislative changes to state professional licensure regulations to measure the impact on global mobility. She also took part in the University of Minnesota Law School Workers’ Rights Clinic, where she assisted indigent clients with unemployment insurance appeals and professional licensure revocation hearings, and served as an extern with Minnesota State District Court Judge Susan N. Burke in Minneapolis.
She resides in Chicago.
