Miller Canfield Elects Principals, Managing Director

Miller Canfield, a global law firm based in Detroit, has announced that it has elected a new managing director and new principals. The announcement was made by Miller Canfield CEO Michael McGee at the firm’s 2016 Annual Meeting in Detroit.

The firm elected litigation and dispute resolution attorney Amy M. Johnston, of Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan, to serve as a managing director. Johnston is a graduate of the University of Michigan and of University of Detroit Law School.

Miller Canfield’s newly elected principals are:

  • Jeffrey S. Aronoff, of Huntington Woods, Michigan, with the firm’s Public Finance group in Detroit. He is a graduate of Wayne State University Law School.
  • Andrew T. Blum, of Cascade Township, with the Litigation and Dispute Resolution group in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is a graduate of University of Notre Dame and Notre Dame Law School.
  • James M. Crowley, of Birmingham, Michigan, with Public Finance group in Detroit. He is a graduate of Wayne State University Law School.
  • Jacob D. Koering, of Elmhurst, Illinois, with the firm’s Intellectual Property group in Chicago. He is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
  • Matthew F. Logan, of Harvard, Illinois, with the Corporate and Finance group in Chicago. He is a graduate of the John Marshall Law School.
  • Christina J. Marshall, with the Product Safety group in Troy. She is a graduate of University of Akron Law School.
  • Kristin E. Nied, of Santa Rosa, California, with the Public Finance group in Ann Arbor. She is a graduate of UCLA.
  • John M. Valentine, of Wheaton, Illinois, with the Real Estate group in Chicago. He is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
