Pat McGow, co-leader of our Public Finance Group, has been elected as a fellow to the prestigious American College of Bond Counsel. The group was formed in 1995 to recognize attorneys who have established reputations among their peers for their skill, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of bond law.

For nearly 30 years, Pat has advised governmental clients on a broad range of infrastructure financing and related legal matters, such as special assessments, elections, state and federal tax issues, and millage and ballot proposals. He is recognized as a leader in his field and has written legislation on a variety of municipal finance and tax increment financing issues.

Pat is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers, the Government Finance Officers Association, the Michigan Municipal Treasurers Association and the Michigan Downtown Association. He has served on the boards of the Michigan Government Finance Officers Association and the Bond Club of Detroit. He is also a member of the City of Northville Brownfield Redevelopment Authority.

Pat is the sixth Miller Canfield public finance attorney to join the group as a fellow, and one of more than 20 Miller Canfield attorneys who have been elected as fellows at prestigious American Colleges in their respective practice area.

Congrats, Pat!
