Donald has a diverse corporate and finance practice for clients around the world in Asia, Brazil, Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

His clients include local and global, public and private companies such as family groups, aircraft operators and airlines, banks, military and private-security companies, distributors, individual and institutional investors, media and entertainment companies, natural resources companies (mining, and oil and gas) and transportation companies (aviation, infrastructure, logistics, ports, shipping, urban transportation). 

His experience and practice include asset financings, banking, corporate and corporate governance matters, contract reviews and negotiations, investment and financing transactions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, and public-private tender projects.

Donald has extensive experience in the Middle East and in Afghanistan, representing global clients doing work in those jurisdictions and representing many of the leading companies from those jurisdictions.

Donald has served on the boards of public and private companies, including public-company audit, compensation and strategy committees. He has served as a principal and board member of a successful hedge fund and a principal in a boutique investment bank focused on raising private equity and debt for businesses located in or doing business in Latin America.

He currently serves as the Chair of the Hong Kong Association of New York, on the Advisory Board of JetSmarter, Inc. and on the board of the World Affairs Forum.
