Stacy Wallace is an attorney with our Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group. Her extensive litigation and transactional experience enables her to effectively advise clients on a range of commercial and business matters.

As former general counsel to an international moving company franchisor, Stacy has drafted, reviewed and negotiated corporate contracts, managed domestic and international trademarks, and developed business strategies and systems. She is also well-versed in issues that are unique to franchise clients, such as the initial creation of a franchise system, the drafting, updating, and filing of franchise disclosure documents, the drafting and enforcement of franchise agreements, national trademark defense and enforcement, and responding to union-organizing campaigns from a franchisor perspective.

Stacy has also worked as Assistant Attorney General with the Michigan Department of Attorney General, where she performed research and analysis to solve complex legal issues ranging from contract drafting to litigation. She has experience navigating all stages of the construction process, including obtaining special designations such as Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), bidding and award disputes, contract negotiation, contract disputes, construction liens, performance and payment bond claims, and collection of payments.
