Maggie Schenone's practice focuses on representing national, regional and local lenders and financial institutions in a variety of commercial lending transactions.
Maggie also has significant experience drafting and negotiating complex trading and financing agreements and master agreements for exchange-based and over-the-counter derivatives transactions, including ISDA Master Agreements, prime brokerage agreements, lockups, repurchase agreements, securities lending agreements and other transactions, in both U.S. and international formats.
Maggie helps clients analyze and evaluate credit and commercial terms in complex financing and trading agreements to identify potential risk and exposure, both within individual agreements and across relationship-level suites of documents.
Representative Matters
- Assisted large global asset management firms with multiple launches of targeted strategy funds, including managing and coordinating the expedited negotiation of up to hundreds of trading documents per fund on a condensed timeline
- Managed and executed negotiations of revised credit support terms for hedge fund clients' extensive ISDA relationships to comply with recent variation margin regulatory requirements
- Assisted large alternative asset management firm in evaluating credit and risk terms across dealer relationships and agreement types to perform a gap analysis, and provided business and exposure recommendations
