Kristin Hughes has extensive experience helping high-net-worth families and individuals in the administration of personal and charitable trusts, foundations, estates, special needs/care planning, and family office management. Her experience includes assisting with settlement of probate estates and estate-like trusts, including the divestment of closely held business interests, real estate, and other limited market assets, as well as working with families who have elder and special needs concerns to implement and administer a long-term plan for care and financial management of assets. Her practice also includes administration of sophisticated trust arrangements, both charitable and family-oriented.

Kristin previously worked as Senior Trust Officer for Plante Moran Trust, as well as a private practice attorney focusing on complex, multimillion-dollar probate litigation and estate/trust administration. She served as a law clerk for the Honorable Judge Eugene Moore of Oakland County Probate Court.
