Bar Admissions

Jessica's practice primarily focuses on employment litigation and labor disputes. She has defended discrimination, harassment, wrongful discharge, failure to accommodate and other employment-related claims, as well as EEOC and MDCR complaints. Her litigation experience includes representing clients in state and federal courts, as well as in proceedings before various government agencies, including the EEOC. She frequently counsels clients on issues related to workplace policies, claims of discrimination, misconduct in the workplace, and wage and hour compliance.

Before arriving at Miller Canfield, Jessica he obtained law degrees in both the U.S. and in Canada, giving her a broad understanding of the issues clients face in both countries. In addition to her law degree, Jessica holds two undergraduate degrees, one in Nutrition and Nutraceuticals and one in Sociology, and an M.Sc. in Clinical Studies with an emphasis in environmental studies from the Ontario Veterinary College.
