Copyrights

In the copyright area, a significant portion of our practice is counseling with respect to the procurement of protection for computer software, and Miller Canfield attorneys have capably represented many of our public law clients such as school districts, libraries and universities in connection with a variety of copyright issues.  We have significant experience with ownership issues involving copyrighted works and infringement litigation.  Our representations include software manufacturers, survey institutes, commercial publishers, and educational institutions.
