Miller Canfield is regularly relied upon to restructure and refinance borrowing entities, whether troubled or healthy, and to resolve disputes among partners or shareholders and between the entities and their creditors or investors. Miller Canfield has obtained successful reorganizations or refinancings for many real estate partnerships and other forms of real estate ownership.

- Finance and construction counsel for Comerica Park and Ford Field, including arbitration and favorable settlement of a multi-million dollar construction claim in connection with construction work performed
- Served as lender's counsel for hundreds of multi-million dollar commercial mortgage loans each year for multifamily, office, retail, industrial, self-storage and manufactured housing properties across the country, for national, regional and local lenders, for loans targeted for securitization and for portfolio, including national, multi-parcel transactions.
