Affirmative Action Plans

Several of our attorneys have extensive experience working with clients to develop affirmative action plans.  In addition, one of our attorneys developed a comprehensive Affirmative Action Manual which provides detailed guidance for organizations developing a manual for the first-timer or is simply updating an existing plan.

Education Law

We counsel and represent public and private academic institutions on all education law issues, including FERPA, student discipline, IDEA, teacher tenure and Title IX provisions.

OFCCP           

We have substantial expertise in labor problems that relate to government contractors and have worked with a number of clients to challenge OFCCP jurisdiction, to counsel clients through audits by the OFCCP, and to represent them in compliance proceedings

OSHA and MIOSHA Reporting

Members of the Labor and Employment law group have participated in major standards-setting proceedings involving health hazards. We counsel and represent employers that have been cited for violations of OSHA and MIOSHA.

Public Employer Labor Relations
