The social networking site, Facebook, Inc., recently announced that it will allow users of its website to create personalized URLs for their individual Facebook pages (facebook.com/yourname).  Beginning Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 12:01 a.m. EDT, users will be able to choose a user name on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Trademark owners interested in protecting their trademarks from registration as personalized URLs can submit a form entitled "Preventing the Registration of a Username" here.
