Palm to Pay Xerox for Patent Infringement Settlement

1997, Xerox Corporation filed a lawsuit against a predecessor company of Palm, Inc. The lawsuit alleged that the handwriting recognition technology known as Graffiti infringed Xerox's patented Unistrokes system's technology. Palm has announced that it will pay Xerox $22.5 million to settle the lawsuit.
