.eu Domain Names Suspended

The .eu top level domain is intended for Internet sites wishing to convey a European identity. EURid, the organization charged with administering the top level domain .eu, has suspended 74,000 .eu domain names and sued 400 domain name registrars. EURid has alleged that the registrars, rather than simply offering the individual domain names for sale according to EURid's standards, are 'warehousing' the domain names to resell at a higher price.
