Miller Canfield Lawyer Christopher Trebilcock Appointed to Great Lakes Wind Council
Miller Canfield is pleased to announce that principal and labor and employment lawyer, Christopher Trebilcock (Detroit, Mich.), has been appointed a member of the State of Michigan’s Great Lakes Wind Council.
The Great Lakes Wind Council serves as an advisory body within the Michigan Department of Energy, Labor & Economic Growth to examine issues and make recommendations related to offshore wind development in Michigan. The council consists of key state agency representatives and stakeholders appointed by Governor Jennifer M. Granholm.
Trebilcock serves clients in federal and state employment and labor litigation, including oral arguments before the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Michigan Court of Appeals. He also manages arbitrations and administrative proceedings at the state and federal level; conducts collective bargaining negotiations; and advises clients, including school districts and universities, on all labor and employment issues.
Trebilcock earned his B.A. from Alma College and his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law.
