Miller Canfield Lawyer John Senica Selected as a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation

August 25, 2009

The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that John L. Senica, a principal and resident director of the firm’s Chicago Office, has been elected as a member of the exclusive Fellows of the American Bar Foundation.  Attorneys are selected as Fellows in recognition of a professional, public, and private career that demonstrates outstanding dedication to the welfare of their community, to the highest principals of their profession, and the objectives of the American Bar Association (ABA).

Senica is a member of a select few to have been honored with an invitation to join the Fellows.  American Bar Foundation materials recite that only one-third of one percent of the attorneys in the United States are selected to be Fellows to the American Bar Foundation.

The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, established in 1952 by the ABA, encourage and support a research faculty that includes prominent scholars in the fields of anthropology, economics, history, law, political science, psychology, and sociology.

At Miller Canfield, Senica practices in the areas of corporate law, real estate, commercial finance and business acquisitions.

A magna cum graduate of University of Notre Dame (B.A. 1982) and Northwestern University School of Law (J.D. 1985), he is admitted to the Bar in the states of both Illinois and Indiana.
