Miller Canfield Presents Seminar on Life Sciences - May 7 in Lake Forest, Illinois
The law firm of Miller Canfield presents a Life Sciences Luncheon Seminar on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m., at Lovell’s of Lake Forest (915 South Waukegan Rd, Lake Forest). Special guest speaker, James R. Ruger, Ph.D., associate general counsel and secretary, Siemens Medical Solutions, in Malvern, Pennsylvania, will provide a legal industry perspective on the legislative, regulatory and private sector trends affecting sales in the medical market, with a special focus on customer activities.
The seminar will also feature Miller Canfield life sciences, intellectual property and health law attorneys. Harold J. Decker, former general counsel for the American Red Cross, will speak on best practices for identifying and minimizing the risks of marketing new products; Sonal Hope Mithani will discuss the laws and standards that apply to off-label marketing and the type of conduct that triggers heightened government scrutiny; and Cara M.
