Miller Canfield Attorney Participates in Web Seminar Focusing on "Understanding the TREAD Act"

On Tuesday, April 8, manufacturers can join a special, free web seminar dedicated to "Understanding the TREAD Act." Hosted from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. by, the online, video seminar will help manufacturers address early warning issues, and will emphasize compliance with the TREAD Act’s April 1 deadline – the start of sweeping new regulations that will require manufacturers to file quarterly reports with the U.S. government.

Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone, P.L.C. attorney, Brian S. Westenberg, will participate in the seminar and will discuss the U.S. Transportation Recall, Enhancement, Accountability and Documentation (TREAD) Act’s implications and consequences of non-compliance. The Act affects manufacturers in four major areas: tires, child passenger safety, rollover, and recalls, defects and non-compliances.
