Miller Canfield attorney-mediator Robert E.L. Wright (Grand Rapids, Mich. office) moderated a panel discussion on the use of mediation in bankruptcy cases at the 22nd annual Federal Bar Association-Western District of Michigan Bankruptcy Conference in Traverse City, Mich. Panel members included The Hon. Walter Shapero, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of Michigan.

Wright is a Harvard-trained facilitative mediator and neutral arbitrator, resolving commercial, construction, divorce and employment disputes. He has over 25 years’ experience at Miller Canfield in general civil litigation with particular emphasis in alternative dispute resolution and commercial litigation, including bankruptcy.

He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America, as well as Michigan Super Lawyers since 2006 for his work as a mediator.

Wright received his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, his M.A. from the University of Santa Monica, and his B.A. from Western Michigan University.
