Miller Canfield Represents Fair Housing Center of Metropolitan Detroit
August 30, 2007The law firm of Miller Canfield announces that it represented the Fair Housing Center of Metropolitan Detroit (FHC) against General Properties Company et al (GPC), owners and managers of the Whispering Woods Apartments (a.k.a. Apple Ridge Apartments) in Livonia, Michigan, successfully obtaining a Consent Decree bringing an end to a two and one-half year racial discrimination lawsuit filed by the FHC.
The Fair Housing Center of Metropolitan Detroit’s legal team was led by Miller Canfield attorney Saul A. Green. Attorneys P. Rivka Schochet, Freeman L. Farrow, Michelle P. Crockett, and Nicole S. Kaseta also worked on the case.
