Anthony J. Mavrinac specializes in syndicated, real estate, construction and equipment financing. He has extensive experience in representing financial institutions in connection with liquidity facilities and letters of credit in support of taxable and tax-exempt bonds, U.S. Export-Import Bank guaranteed loan facilities and loan work-out matters.
“One true measure of success in closing a financing transaction is the degree to which the counselor understands and attains both the expressed and unexpressed aims of the client. This requires an aptitude for both educating the client and for being educated by the client. I enjoy this process, and I know that my clients -- sometimes to their surprise, especially when the transactions are most challenging -- find it enjoyable as well.”

Experience
Tony represented a financial institution in connection with the refinancing of a hospital’s adjustable rate debt in an aggregate amount in excess of $450 million. This was successfully accomplished under an aggressive timetable and with many other creditor parties whose positions needed to be considered and addressed.
“The number of moving parts in this transaction was initially daunting, but with disciplined organization and the establishment of clear lines of communication and procedures with the client, the transaction reached a smooth closing.”
